SBCC Partner Meeting

Aton Forest hosted the first Sandy Brook Conservation Corridor (SBCC) partner meeting of the year here on January 21st. Representatives from eight different groups made it out to discuss plans for 2014.  A key topic of discussion was the new informational brochure that will become available by late march in both print and electronic form.

Further Support for Burnell Purchase

Aton Forest has been granted $20,000 by the Summer Hill Foundation to be put towards the Burnell property acquisition. Over the last decade the foundation has been working hard to preserve lands in their natural state.  We greatly appreciate the help of the Summer Hill Foundation in our effort to protect the lands of Aton Forest.
